Dr. Shiv Prakash Yadav is an Assistant Professor at Amity University, India, and a distinguished scholar of German Studies with extensive academic, research, and international teaching experience across India and Germany. A recipient of prestigious fellowships from the Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung, Germany, he currently serves as the First President of the Hanns-Seidel-Foundation Alumni Club of India and as a Member of the Foundation’s International Selection Committee for scholarship programs in Munich, Germany. 

Dr. Yadav earned his Ph.D. in German Studies from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), with significant research conducted at Albert-Ludwigs-University, Freiburg, Germany. His expertise includes German language and literature, memory and trauma studies, comparative literature, translation studies, and Indo-German cultural discourse. He has taught at leading institutions including Amity University, Aligarh Muslim University, University of Delhi, IIT Delhi, Ashoka University, and JNU. 

An accomplished researcher, translator, and academic speaker, Dr. Yadav has published extensively in international journals, contributed to major translation projects with Max Mueller Bhavan and DAAD, and delivered invited lectures at renowned institutions across Germany and Switzerland.
