Dr. Sushma Kumari is a distinguished scholar of Russian language and literature with extensive experience in higher education, multilingual communication, translation, and interpretation. She holds a Ph.D. in Russian Literature from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), where her research focused on identity, ethnicity, religion, and violence in contemporary Russian literature. Currently serving as an ICSSR Post-Doctoral Fellow, her ongoing research explores the representation of India in Russian literature. 

With over six years of academic and professional experience, Dr. Kumari has taught Russian language, translation, and interpretation at institutions including Panjab University, Jamia Millia Islamia, IGNOU, and JNU. Her academic interests include translation studies, intercultural discourse, multilingual communication, and Indian Knowledge Systems. She has published extensively in reputed journals and contributed to national and international seminars on Russian literature and intercultural relations.
